Today I thought I would watch Tuesday's performances because I Tivo'd them. But it turns out that American Idol ran longer than the alloted time and it CUT Adam's performance. If it wasn't for Adam or Chris I seriously wouldn't watch this season. I was really disappointed with Chris but everyones allowed an of day. I thought I would fast forward to Adam only to find out that it WASN'T THERE. I was pissed. I even think there were hysterics involved. I'm really glad he was in the bottom three because a lot of people record it using their DVR's and this probably pissed them of to.
I understand that it's a live show and that they were pressed for time or whatever BUT this is the freaking 8th season. Shouldn't they have it down by now. Also, they seem to have forgotten that they have a fourth judge which would cause the show to run, you know, longer?
P.S. Ryan speaks to much. I think he should just stand there and look pretty . LOL!!!! All he has to do is introduce them and STFU. By the time Seacrest shut it and the singing got underway, more than five minutes had been lost to the airing of baby photos and other nonessentials. I think the people at FOX are just dumb. Did they really have to show the pictures during the performance show? Couldn't they have done it on the result show instead?
They will be shot, killed and maimed [verbally] if this happens again.
On the bright side...My favorite American Idol contestant Adam Lambert managed to pull of a very rare thing this evening: a standing ovation led by Simon Cowell. Does anyone know if Simon's done this before?
